He?s been waiting patiently for his release from prison, and Lil Wayne is officially a free man!
With the ?Mrs. Officer? rapper originally thought to be done with his jail time today (November 4), a guard erroneously told press that Wayne would have one more day.
Officer Caraballo told MTV, "His time was miscalculated. He owed, he owes one day of 'good time,' so it's gonna be another night. If you get an infraction in jail, they?ll take away ?good time?- time that you accumulated for good behavior.?
Seemingly an attempt to throw off awaiting media members, it has since been reported that Wayne was set free early this morning.
Now out of Rikers lockup, Mack Maine (Young Money President) stated that he?d ?just treat him like a king, like the royalty that he is and make him feel like we really missed him and welcome him back to the family, basically."
